For those who believe that the epidemic had few, if any,
positive outcomes, let me remind you of how we all got a little bit more
attentive and self-reflective as a result of it. After all, many individuals
took up new hobbies (or at least tried them!) like knitting or baking, while
others tackled projects they had no time for before, such as repairing an old
garage in their backyard.
Those who were particularly committed have produced some very outstanding results. We have an excellent assortment of DIY projects to get you motivated thanks to the “Something I Made” section of Reddit.
Consider a lovely handmade gown, a Roman bust aquarium, or dazzling stained glass—it seemed that nothing was too difficult for these inventive individuals who put their idle hands to work.
Psst! Part 1 of the post is right here, with even more
wonderful things individuals created while under quarantine.
